Bright Sprouts ("we", "our", or "the app") is a toddler learning application designed for children ages 1–4. We take your family's privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information of both parents and children.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account through Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address as provided by the identity provider. We use this solely for account management and purchase restoration.

User-Created Content

Photos and voice recordings you create for custom games are stored locally on your device. If you upgrade to Premium, this content may be synced to our cloud service (Firebase) so you can access it across devices. We do not access, review, or share your user-created content.

Purchase Information

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information from children.

• We do not display advertisements.

• We do not share or sell data to third parties.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Bright Sprouts is designed for use by toddlers under parental supervision. The app does not collect any personal information from children. All account creation and purchase flows are gated behind a parent-only age verification screen. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Firestore with industry-standard encryption. User-created content (photos and recordings) is stored on-device by default. Premium users' content is synced via Firebase Cloud Storage with encryption in transit and at rest.

Third-Party Services

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Parent Controls screen within the app. This permanently removes your account information and any cloud-synced content.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
